iWebSaver: Web App Review

Purpose:  Save any website for offline usage.

Analysis: Save URLs, images, PDFs, Word Docs, Excel Spreadsheets for future offline use. Great for “airplane mode”.

Enter the URL.

Unfortunately, there is an extremely annoying ad page while “Your page is being saved”. However, that’s the price we pay for free products.

Once the save screen end or you click “skip ad” you are presented with a ‘Finished’ screen at which point your saved page starts to load.

At this point you are presented with a choice to either “Add to Bookmarks” or “Add to Home Screen”.

Ta Da! Access your page at any point without internet connection.

The Verdict: This web app is a must have. How often is your EDGE connection crawling while a WiFi connection isn’t present? Pretty often. Save whatever page you reference often, and just access it instantly. Although the interface is, well – ugly, to say the least – you should still give iWebSaver a chance. You’ll need it at some point.
