Purpose: Displays the Periodic Table of Elements on your iPhone. The app is packed with lots of detailed information on each element.

Analysis:

When you first open the program, you’re taken to a List format with the elements’ names listed.

You can switch to "Symbols"

You can click on an element to get some extremely detailed data.(anything from the atomic weight to the discovery date to the heat of molar fusion to the first molar ionization energy and much much more)

You can sort elements based on an assortment of characteristics:

This app is practically a must have for any student.

The Verdict:  Sure there’s plenty of you out there who haven’t seen one of these since high school. But you know deep down inside you have a nostalgic feeling that’s just begging to be quenched with some good ole periodic table browsing. And next time you have that feeling and your General Chemistry book isn’t around, pull out your iPhone and visit your Periodic Table app.
