3G/EDGE Tethering App Netshare is Pulled by Apple From App Store
Posted on 07/31/2008 | 2 CommentsToday Apple approved over 60 application for the app store. Somehow, 3G/EDGE Tethering App Netshare made a list of approved apps. The whole Internet connection is more then harmless as far as service providers concern. First, they sell special plans and hardware for tethering. Second, if everybody starts tethering using their cell phone it will put a strain on already fragile data network. -

Apple Releases “Push Notification” API To Selected Developers
Posted on 07/31/2008As you recall, Apple announced a unified Push notification service for developers at the WWDC in June. "Push notification" is just a fancy name for apps having the ability to receive background notifications. So in a way, this is Apple's answer to having some background functionality for iPhone applications. Applications which require an Internet connection will benefit the most from push notification. -
