The "Info" screen for SEGA’s Super Monkey Ball on the App Store
The icon for the app is dim with a progress bar while the app is downloading (bottom right icon)
Now that the download is complete, this iPhone has "Monkey Ball"
The price on Monkey Ball (an awesome looking game) is $9.99, so it’s safe to say that all games will be around that price. Furthermore, the majority of applications will be free (such as eBay, TypePad).
Although they we’re yet to see the actual payment process, we can definitely see two things.
The app store is extremely easy to use, and has lots of apps already.
Also note that this is not the only download method – for you can also download apps via iTunes and then sync your iPhone with your Mac/PC.
These screenshots were taken from Apple’s new iPhone 3G Guided Tour (released yesterday). The app store spotlight starts at 7min 40s.
Watch it here.

I cannot wait for Monkey Ball.
Forget Monkey Ball, have you seen Enigmo?
The real games will start when Apple releases a “PSP-like” gaming handheld device.
I guess Apple will release a “PSP like” device. They’re allowing iPhone games for a reason. Why would they compete with their own market?
Nice, I cant wait.
One question I have is whether or not an application purchased on a PC with iTunes can be synced with multiple iPhones and if apps bought on the phone are also transferred back to the PC.
Or watch the video these screenshots came from at apple.com
So will the app store be available for non-3g iphones as well, or do you have to have the 3g phone to download apps/use the iphone 2.0 software?
