In an interview with USA Today, Steve Jobs gave additional details about the App Store:
1. There will be a total of 500 apps, although Apple’s goal was only 200. "This is the biggest launch of my career," says Jobs.
2. 25% of apps are free.
3. Pandora radio will be available as an application in the App Store…for FREE!
