Anyone who’s spent any time on New Jersey’s beaches (known colloquially as "down the shore") is intimately familiar with the arcade games that line many of their boardwalks: games of skill (sometimes), luck (mostly) and absolute dumb luck (110%). Many dangle the lure of something actually valuable as a top prize — small appliances, home electronics, maybe an electric guitar — but often the most you come away with for your hard-spent dollars is a cheaply-made stuffed animal, and not a particularly large one at that.
Which makes the game booth shown here that much more hilariously suspect:
The green Apple logo is an especially nice touch.
One gets the feeling that, were you to actually WIN their "iPhone," it’d be made out of foam-stuffed plush and fall apart in two days.
