The App Store currently has 5 full pages of "productivity" apps, and a number of them perform the same thing: a to do list. However, some of these applications are mere notepads, while others actually help you get things done. Read on to see which To-Do apps will help you avoid procrastination, and which will simply prolong your daily time-wasting.
The following 3 "To Do List" apps are listed in the order of simple, intermediate, and advanced. The latter of the three is made based on David Allen’s Getting Things Done methodology, which you can read more about here.

So if you’re looking for a To Do list for your iPhone, these 3 are the best. However, it’s up to you to decide how advanced your tasking needs are. If you’re following the GTD methodology, then Todo by Appigo is for you, given that it allows all sorts of integration. Also, iNozbe is coming to the App Store soon, and it’s a To Do application built specifically to accomodate GTD followers. Expect a thorough review when it comes out.

For implementing GTD you might try out this web-based application:
http://www.Gtdagenda.com
You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
A mobile version and iCal are available too.
Hope you like it.
Have you looked at Things and OmniFocus. I decided to buy Things and I really like it. It’s light but powerful enough for almost everything I need.
Before the iPhone, I used a home-brewed web app as my GTD system — between the built in calendar and Things it has pretty much every feature I had, but there’s one thing I hadn’t been able to find.
I had a way to store recurring tasks that you want to do consistently, but don’t have an exact due date. Things like going to the gym every 2 to 3 days, or calling my Mom once a week, writing a blog entry every weekday — I have a lot of them, and I don’t want them cluttering my calendar. Also, I wanted to be able to skip or do them late and see a report on how well I was doing them.
I decided to port my web app to be a native iPhone app (it’s called Habits). You can see more at my site:
I created a tool that will help you get those unnecessary and costly meetings canceled.
Check out my iPhone app, Money Timer, on the app store (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewArtist?id=302279220) or at my website ).
I too created an app for your todos called What Do I Need To-Do?
It is a simple way or organising your tasks quickly and easily. It automatically files them based on their urgency and importance.

Thanks
I like ‘Get It Done’ http://getitdoneapp.com
it’s an online task manager and an iPhone app that syncs with it. Great interface and easy to use
I finally build my own todo list. An iPhone app that simply send a mail to my inbox with a single click. Using GTD methodology I make sure my inbox is empty and categorize mails as waiting, action and complete… http://MessageToMe.jancology.com
