Box Office Pulled From App Store, Developer Left Dazed and Confused
Posted on 08/04/2008 | 1 CommentBox Office, one of my personal favorite apps, has been removed from the App Store. For those of you unfamiliar with Box Office, it is was a movie ticket/info application which allowed you to browse by movie, theatre, and current location. It listed all movie times and provided brief Rotten Tomato reviews, along with direct links to pre-order tickets for the movie. In other words, it was a sweet app - and it worked very well. But unfortunately, unless you've already downloaded Box Office, you can't get it any more. This news comes as a shock not only to iPhone users, but to the developer himself, who had absolutely no idea why his free application had been removed. -

Cro-Mag Rally Price Lowered To $5.99
Posted on 08/01/2008Cro-Mag Rally, one of the lucky WWDC worthy iPhone games, has just had it's price lowered from $9.99 to $5.99. Rally had found itself a competitor in Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D, since both games had the same premise, gameplay, and price. Perhaps Pangea Software, the developers of Rally, simply wanted to make the Rally/Bandicoot decision a little bit easier. Regardless, thanks Pangea - now lower Enigmo too :) -

Steve Jobs Has Always Been A Trendsetter…
Posted on 08/01/2008It seems that Steve Jobs has always been a man aware of future trends. Whether it be futuristic circuit boards, wizardy touch-sensitive mobile devices, or simply popped collars, Steve Jobs has always been a trendsetter. Check out Steve Jobs lookin' fly over 20 years ago with his red collar popped straight up towards the sky - and somehow, he pulled it off back then way better than the current Abercrombie youth does. -

Posted on 08/01/2008 | 6 CommentsThe App Store currently has 5 full pages of "productivity" apps, and a number of them perform the same thing: a to do list.
