Apparently, somebody thought it was a good idea to make the Apple logo on the rear shell of their iPhone light up. And so, with soldering iron in one hand — and, no doubt, a healthy slug of Stoli in the other — they did just that. The resultant hack claims to put no appreciable extra strain on the iPhone’s battery, and you can even adjust the brightness in the Settings menu.
Despite some early suspicions of an iHoax, photos and even a YouTube video indicate that this is the real McCoynovitch.
What price illumination, you ask? Oh, a measly US$300.00. Heck, you had that burning a hole in your back pocket, anyway…
