Spore Origins originates on original iPod

Spore is here! But not on the iPhone.  Not yet. 

Spore Origins has been released on the platform from which the iPhone originated, the iPod (iTunes, $4.99). 

This companion to the not-yet released desktop version of the long awaited Life Sim is now available to download for Classic and 5th Generation iPods and 3rd Generation iPod Nanos.  The iPhone and iTouch versions of Spore Origins are slated to go on sale September 7th.

Spore Origins has 4 game modes with 18 levels of gameplay and 6 worlds for your unique organism to explore.  If you want to battle your friends’ Spores, you can download them to your iPod via  Sporepedia and witness survival of the fittest at its finest.  And as an added bonus, you can watch your little booger boogie down with your tunes.
