If you’re familiar with MobileMe, then you’ve gotta be familiar with all the failures the service went through. Apple attempted to release MobileMe the same day as the iPhone 3G, iPhone 2.0 firmware, and the App Store. Long story short, it’s been a month long fiasco with MobileMe being up and down, working only now and then.
In other words, the process was very un "Apple" like. On that note, Steve Jobs sent the following internal email to Apple employees Monday evening admitting to his mistake:
"It was a mistake to launch MobileMe at the same time as iPhone 3G, iPhone 2.0 software and the App Store," he says. "We all had more than enough to do, and MobileMe could have been delayed without consequence."
"The MobileMe launch clearly demonstrates that we have more to learn about Internet services," Jobs says. "And learn we will. The vision of MobileMe is both exciting and ambitious, and we will press on to make it a service we are all proud of by the end of this year."

Well, atleast Steve Jobs knows when to admit he messed up.
