Sometimes, it’s the simple things in life which give us the most pleasure. Take Ian Marsh’s Hanoi for example. The object of the game is to move a tower of discs from one side to the other, keeping in mind that smaller discs must be stacked on top of larger discs. While it sounds like an easy task on the surface, each level of Hanoi becomes increasingly difficult. The key to beating this strategy game is logic.
- Eight challenging levels
- Stunning visuals
- Replay value not very high, due to a lack of levels
- No music (Though the iPod can provide a soundtrack for those who can’t play in silence)
Hanoi provides a stimulating challenge and beautiful graphics. For $.99 extra, you can graduate to Hanoi Plus, which has more levels and features.
