For those living with Diabetes, the App Store has three Apps which can aid diabetics in keeping tabs of their daily activities:
Diabetes Log was developed by Chris Ross, a Type-1 diabetic who desired a convenient application that tracked all of his daily information. This App keeps tabs of food, glucose, and medicine intake. Ross promises new features in the future, including exporting records via email and editing medication types. (App Store; Free for a limited time)
Diamedic from Nicholas Martin offers comprehensive daily readings. Users can log sugar levels and insulin shots then access graphs to aid them in monitoring their levels with accuracy and clarity. Additional features include a prescription calculator, the ability to email readings, and a built-in keyboard. (App Store; $5.99)
Created by Dr. Lee Konowe, Ph.D, Glucose-Charter not only keeps track of blood glucose, insulin, and medication information, it also provides dietary choices due to its built-in food database. The medication tracker has recently been updated to include medications other than insulin. (App Store; $5.99)
Diabetics who have spent their lives writing down their daily activities can now record their information with much more ease through one of the three Apps listed above. Aside from logging information, each of these Apps also provides features which can aid diabetics in making healthy and informed choices.
