The App Store is littered with puzzle games. If you had to choose just one puzzle App to download to your iPhone or iTouch for the rest of your life, we’d highly recommend PuzzLoop from Hudson. Originally released in 1998, this remake captures the charm and fun of its predecessor. The objective of PuzzLoop is to eliminate all the balls in your loop by matching 3 or more like-colored balls. Obstacles abound and the balls pile up fast, so act quick, and aim smart before the balls enter the center of the loop.
We test drove the Lite version of PuzzLoop, PuzzLoop Free.
- Three levels of gameplay, obstacles mounting with each turn
- Gorgeous graphics and catchy soundtrack
- High replay value, despite only being three levels
- Limited levels (Plenty more levels, plus two game modes, are available in the full version)
Watch a PuzzLoop master at work (Haha…):
The only negative thing about PuzzLoop Free is that it’s so limited, it leaves you wanting more. However, despite that limitation, PuzzLoop Free is a fun game on its own merit. If you have eight dollars to spare, consider spending it on the full version of PuzzLoop, and prepare to spend hours upon hours glued to your iPhone or iTouch.
