Google may be coming out with its Android, but it hasn’t completely given up on the iPhone.
The Web search giant has been meeting with agencies to discuss the implementation of iPhone-specific ads. What that means is that ads that appear on the iPhone will be more localized and tailored to the interests of iPhone users. The iPhone pulls sites directly from the Internet and displays them right on the phone; sites on the iPhone are viewed the same as those on a computer.
Well, this means that ads on the iPhone won’t be disappearing any time soon (though you can block most of them with a little help), but at least the proposed iPhone-centric ads are expected to be more in-tune to the interests of iPhone owners.
