iheart radio: Needs more love, stations

Here’s another radio App to add to the list: iheart radio from ClearChannel.  This App streams terrestrial radio stations in high-quality AAC format.

Features

• Streams popular stations from across the country, from KFAN to Z100, in AAC format
• Bookmark favorite stations for easy access later
• View album art and lyrics

Limitations

• Allegedly offers 700+ stations…but there are only 12?!
• Apparent problems installing and running on 2nd Gen iTouch

Summary

Terrestrial radio in crystal clear quality sounds mighty fine.  But 12 stations?  ClearChannel can certainly afford to offer a much wider selection than that!  There needs to be more love put into iheart radio in order for it to compete with the likes of AOL Radio, Tuner, or Pandora.
