A Touch of Warfare: Metal Gear Solid Hits the iPhone With Everything It’s Got

So the über-popular Metal Gear Solid franchise is officially coming to the iPhone.

After confusing the bejeezus out of gamers with a hint that the next MSG would hit the Xbox 360, Konami unveiled the official name (Metal Gear Solid Touch) and logo, as seen above, and confirmed that the iPhone would be the first-person shooter's Ground Zero.  They also confirmed that it would utilize characters and stories from MGS 4, offer 8 playing levels right off the bat (with more stages to be added later), and that points earned by playing the game can be used to unlock images and wallpapers from the Metal Gear Solid series.
