With so much of the computer world being visually-oriented, it's easy to forget there's an entire segment of the population (i.e. the blind/visually-impaired) that are literally being left out in the dark.
No longer. Portuguese designer Bruno Fosi now offers Invisual: a full-body silicon cover for the iPhone with modified bas-relief buttons, each corresponding to a modified home screen. Using text-to-speech and moon-type tactile feedback, the case promises full iPhone functionality to the sightless, including multi-touch and finger flick scrolling.
(No word yet on what underlying apps support all this, though…)
