Got Four Disposable Drinking Cups and Two Toothpicks?  You Have an iPod Speaker System!

How about this for a very low-tech solution when you need a set of speakers for your iPod!!  This "CupSpeakers" build by designer Dmitry Zagga is about as low-tech as you can get, but it works great. 

Just punch a little hole in the bottom of each of two disposable drinking cups, insert your iPod's ear buds, then attach the "speakers" to two more upside down drinking cups with the toothpicks.  Voila!  Speakers.  (OK, OK, it may not compete with real speakers, but when you're desperate‚Ķ) 

You may not be able to get a good 5 cent cigar anymore, but who says you can't have a serviceable 5 cent speaker system?
