Navigate Like an Egyptian: GPS iPhone Functionality Not Missing, Just Crippled

If you reside in Egypt, and you want to utilize GPS to get around — tough camels, pal.  Egypt is one of many countries where satellite navigation is prohibited.  So one would understandably assume that smart phones sold in the Land of the Pharaohs would have GPS functionality removed entirely.

Turns out that's not the case.  Hackint0sh reports that iPhones sold in "Pyramid Park" have the GPS hardware installed — and here's how to hack your handset to turn it back on.

So mount up that camel and head for the desert — you may get swallowed up in a sand storm, but at least you won't be lost.
