The first practical application of OS 3.0's streaming Bluetooth capabilities has been discovered: wireless in-car MP3's.
When a reviewer for Cars.com's official blog previewed the new Toyota Venza, he was dismayed at the lack of a USB port for iPod/iPhone music-playback support. Oh, you could spring for an audio system upgrade that supported Bluetooth audio streaming, but precious little supported it.
Until now. See the above video for the results.
(Oh, and the Venza not your cup of burning rubber? Fear not, the next generation Prius — as well as the Subaru Legacy — are also scheduled to support "audio with 'Teeth.")
