onOne Software has submitted an application to the App Store which will allow iPhone users to wirelessly trigger photo-taking on their Canon digital camera by tapping a button on their iPhone. The iPhone is truly becoming a wireless remote to your entire life.

Go here to learn how else you can use your iPhone as a remote.

The application allows you to trigger the photo, control settings such as shutter speed, aperture and white balance, and open or close the shutter…all from your iPhone.

How it works:

  • Get an iPhone or iPod Touch
  • Get a supported Canon EOS DSLR
  • You must have a computer running the free companion DSLR Remote Server software
  • You must connect your camera to the computer via USB cable

The application, DSLR Remote, will be released at an introductory price of $9.99. There will also be a lite version, which will only allow users to trigger the photo (without all the other features), for $1.99.
