Today’s Notable iPhone Apps – Friday June 26th Edition

Today our feature iPhone app reviews include iNews, Twitter World, Battery Level, and the famous Family Guy application. iNews is an incredible RSS feed aggregator with a stylish look. Twitter World allows you to have international tweets automatically translated. Battery Level will help you try to fake your iPhone 3G into being an iPhone 3GS, and Family Guy is just plain fun.

iNews is a full featured news reader that allows you to input your favorite websites and have the most recent article presented to you on the front page (images included). Once you tap one of the sites, i.e. The New York Times, you have a full list of news articles with images and all. You might say, "But the NYT has a free app". True, but, this app allows you to bring all your news sources together in one place. It's extremely convenient, not just for news, but to keep track of all the blogs you read on-the-go. 

This is the official Fox Family Guy iPhone app. If you're a die hard Family Guy fan, this app is for you. You can watch clips, toss Peter, create a Stewie pin-up, and build your own Freakin' Sweet Video Mix. While you can't watch full episodes, you can watch classic Family Guy clips and rate them. There is an occasional commercial. There are two mini-games in which you can throw Peter around or design your own Stewie. The main part of the application is the Freakin' Sweet Mixer, which allows you to create your own Family Guy video clip mix by dragging clips into a timeline. You can share the mixes.
