Today we've got some really exciting stuff. First of all, the first ever iPhone app with nudity, "Hottest Girls" was released today. It was removed shortly thereafter. However, if you didn't get a chance to download it before it was removed, it'll probably be back soon (after all, Apple implemented the new rating system for a reason.) There's also Clap Lamp, an app that turns your iPhone into a 70's style clap-on lamp (and clock). Post Man is a new iPhone app that'll help you keep your girlfriend (or mom) happy, and mLocal will conveniently let you browse the local Classified section on-the-go.
Hottest Girls

Note: This app was removed from the American iTunes App Store. There's a chance it might come back, but if it doesn't, there will certainly be other similar apps because of the iPhone 3.0's parental controls feature.
This app has gotten quite a bit of publicity today, mainly because it's the first iPhone app to feature topless images. The app is just a large collection of fullscreen photographs of chicks in bikinis and lingerie, and after today's update they're in neither. Due to the iPhone 3.0's parental control integration, Apple created a 17+ category for iPhone apps in the app store. For some reason, however, Apple brought this app down. It doesn't seem like the app was removed due to nudity, for it was more likely removed for either using copyrighted images or not getting Apple's "special" approval for this type of app. Whatever the reason, there will surely be more apps like it in the near future. We'll keep you posted.

Clap Lamp is a seemingly simple but extremely useful little iPhone app. It's a clock, torch, and lamp controlled by your clap, which turns the screen on and off. It's great for this middle of the night times when you need to see the time, or just need a little light to find something on your nightstand. The app saves you the hassle of getting out of bed. It's also great if you wake up in the middle of the night and are curious to see if you have any missed calls or text messages, but don't feel like rolling around and poking around for your iPhone. The app allows you to choose the style of light, whether its a bulb, a flame, or a solid color, it's really all the same light.
