Japan's Sanwa Direct now offers what it claims to be a waterproof case for your iPhone 3G/3GS. The ?3,280 (US$34.00) case allows you to plug in equally waterproof headphones that come with the case, as do an armband and neck lanyard.
While we don't know anyone willing to risk their pricey iPhone to test the case's claims in the open sea, anything that will at least keep your phone dry and protected near the community pool sounds like a good idea to us.
