So Ars Technica was poking around in the beta of iPhone OS 3.1 — as they are wont to do — when they stumbled across the USB device configuration plist shown above.
Of particular note are the entries for a heretofore unknown "iProd." The 1,1 designation signifies a first revision device. You might recall that when the OS 3.0 SDK was in beta, there was a listing for an "iPhone 3,1" — which eventually emerged as the 3GS.
Speculation is rampant as to what the "iProd" might be. A camera-equipped iPod? The long-rumored Apple tablet? The even longer-rumored iPhone Nano? Only time will tell…
