OS 3.1 Teases A Future “iProd,” Whatever That Is

So Ars Technica was poking around in the beta of iPhone OS 3.1 — as they are wont to do — when they stumbled across the USB device configuration plist shown above.

Of particular note are the entries for a heretofore unknown "iProd."  The 1,1 designation signifies a first revision device.  You might recall that when the OS 3.0 SDK was in beta, there was a listing for an "iPhone 3,1" — which eventually emerged as the 3GS.

Speculation is rampant as to what the "iProd" might be.  A camera-equipped iPod?  The long-rumored Apple tablet?  The even longer-rumored iPhone Nano?  Only time will tell…
