The Apple Tablet: One Step Closer To Reality?

Gizmodo has a story about an alleged Apple insider spilling the beans about the long-rumored big-screen 'iTablet"/"Kindle Killer."  The unit (artist's concept above) is supposed to have a 10-inch screen, come in two flavors (one with a webcam and one for "educational" use), and possibly act as a secondary screen/touchpad for iMacs and MacBooks.  A list price of US$700.00 to US$900.00 was also bandied about, as well as a potential release during this year's Christmas season.
