Photographer/gadgeteer David Friedman was one of the folks caught flat-footed when Apple pulled all the Google Voice apps from the App Store. Thinking quickly, he hacked together a way to create "bookmarklets" in Safari that would speed-dial contacts with a quick tap. The hack, with explanation, is posted on Friedman's Ironic Sans tech blog.
