Maybe I'm just getting old, but no one seems to want to grow up and become an astronaut anymore. At least not like in the 60's, when the Space Race was in full swing and the Mercury/Gemini/Apollo crews were heroes, instead of the glorified truck drivers of the Space Shuttle program.
Still, that hasn't stopped NASA from entering the modern age with their very first iPhone app. The free program lets you keep tabs on space missions current (where's the International Space Station now?) and future (the next-generation of Moon and Mars explorations), plus tons of photos, videos, and status updates via Twitter.
