Who said "never bet on tech stocks?"
Apple released their fiscal Q4 earnings report yesterday, and the numbers are frankly mind-boggling:
- Revenue of $9.87 billion and a net quarterly profit of $1.67 billion. Revenue alone is up two billion from this time last year.
- More than three million Mac's sold. Mac sales growing at 17%, versus 2% for the rest of the market. 74% of those are MacBooks.
- 10.2 million iPods sold. This is actually an 8% drop from last year — but iPod Touch sales have doubled.
- 7.4 million iPhones, plus another half-beellion app downloads. Remember, kids, that's in just a three-month period.
