Geohot has made this jailbreak and unlock process extraordinarily SIMPLE by combining the two utilities into one download. Only be choosing "sn0w" from the iPhone blackra1n app's menu will you unlock your iPhone! Also, if you jailbroke used the pwnage tool or deleted "blackra1n.app," from your iPhone, blacksn0w will be added to Cydia, and instructions will be posted here. New to Blackra1n RC3?
1. Go to blackra1n.com.
2. Click on the logo representing your operating system (Windows or Apple) to download the blackra1n utility.
3. Run the app on your computer.
4. Click "Make it rain."
5. When your iPhone finishes rebooting, you will see a new app on your screen called "blackra1n."
6. Run the "blackra1n" app on you iPhone
7. Install "blacksn0w" to unlock your iPhone.
8. Enjoy your new unlocked, jailbroken iPhone!
Blackra1n user?
1. If you have not deleted the "blackra1n" application from your iPhone, run the app.
2. The option for "Icy" will be replaced by "ra1n." Running "ra1n" will update "blackra1n" on your iPhone.
3. After upgrading, run "blackra1n" again. This time you will see the option for "sn0w."
4. Install "sn0w" and enjoy your unlocked iPhone!
The whole process should not take you more then 10 minutes.

Hello I mistakenly deleted blackra1n application without installing cydia, will anyone help me to get cydia easily.
I tried a million times doing the unlock. Everytime I turn my phone off, when i turn it back on it asks to connect with iTunes cuz its under recovery mode. So i’m not able to turn my phone off anymore. ever. otherwise i have to connect to itunes and do all the process of blackrain over and over. plus i dont have wireless connection anymore, after installing this blackrain app. What should I do?? Please help!

Most instructions for jailbreaking with blackra1n are incomplete and you will run into problems.
I wished they had better documentation.
