Today's Notable iPhone apps revolve around the entertainment section of the Appstore with Pocket God, Pocket Devil, The Moron Test and Bubblewrap!



Pocket God – $0.99

If someone asks you if you are a god, now you really can say yes! (Credit: Ghostbusters)

Bolt Creative has come up with possibly one of the most popular games for the iPhone and the iPod Touch and it's called Pocket God.

What kind of god do you want to be?  In Pocket God, you are the all-powerful god over a small tribe of pygmies located on a remote island.  You can pick them up, hit them with lightning, turn them into zombie, have them fight off a dinosaur and a whole lot more.

Bolt Creative is already on Episode 28, "Barking Spider, Crouching Pygmy," and the purchase of one episode gives you all the previous episodes and future episodes.  You can't beat this for $0.99!

Pocket Devil – $0.99

Pocket Devil is by Eyedip and is indeed an almost direct ripoff of Pocket God by Bolt Creative.  We hope we're not stepping on anyone's toes by saying that we like this application too.

It plays the same, it looks similar – except in this case, you're the devil.  You're in hell and you have a tribe of little demons to torture in different ways.

Unlike Pocket God, this app hasn't been out too long and they're only on the second chapter of the game. But if Bolt Creative is good with it, we're definitely recommending to keep your eyes on this game.

The Moron Test – $0.99

Tired of mindless tedium?  The Moron Test will provide you a few hours of entertainment, as long as you can follow directions.  Can you follow them?  To the letter?

This game gives your brain a workout – nothing hard, just very specific.  And currently, it's the #1 paid app in the Entertainment section of the Appstore.  Go check it out and have fun.  See how smart you REALLY are.

BubbleWrap – Free

Pop, pop, pop!  We here at iSmashPhone.com would like to come out of the closet to announce that we are addicted to popping bubble wrap.  This Bubblewrap application is perfect for that!

Not only do you get to pop the virtual plastic bubbles, but you have to pop as many as you can before the timer runs out.  Some bubbles re-inflate, some give you a higher bubble-popping count. Now we don't have to spend our hard-earned money on bubblewrap for the offices!
