Yesterday we talked about the new Magellan RoadMate navigation app and the impending release of a Magellan car kit. Magellan has now released some more details about its Premium Car Kit for the iPhone however there is no word or pricing or availability as of now.
Like the Tom Tom Car Kit, Magellan's kit will transform the iPhone or the iPod touch into a bonafied in-car GPS navigation solution. The car kit features an adjustable mount and supports both portrait and landscape use.
The Magellan Premium Car Kit is equipped with GPS receiver and also features a noise canceling speakerphone. iPhone users don't necessary need to install the RoadMate app, as the kit works with any GPS App.
