The Telmap GPS Solution For The iPhone

Since its announcement, the Google Maps Navigation is dominating  all the GPS headlines. However that hasn‚Äôt stopped Telmap to announce a new mapping and navigation solution for the iPhone. The Telmap solution is no Google Maps Navigation however it does bring some decent features on board by using NAVTEQ maps and shells like MapQuest Navigation and Orange Maps.

 Apart from providing NAVTEQ‚Äôs global map coverage, Telmap solution also includes features like Live traffic, turn-by-turn GPS navigation, both in-car and pedestrian modes, and more.  Of course if the Google Maps Navigation comes to the iPhone, its highly unlikely that iPhone users will shell out money for the Telmap solution!
