Categorizing the Apple Tablet as just a rumor doesn't make sense anymore as the evidence points to the contrary. Thanks to the sleuthing of some enterprising folks out there, we have found out that apple had acquired the domain iSlate.com way back in 2007.
The domain was registered to a company called Eurobox Ltd who later transferred it to MarkMonitor.com which handles domain registrations professionally. In 2007, it was leaked that Apple owns "iSlate.com" and check out the picture of the historic record below stating the same.
So what do you think will Apple stick to iSlate or come up with a new name for the Apple tablet which is rumored to debut in 2010?
