Apple Plans To Kill Cable With iTunes

Soon a day would come when your cable tv would have been dethroned by iTunes. According to WSJ, big shots at CBS and Disney see merit in Apple's iTunes TV show subscriptions over the internet. Industry insiders say that Apple is completing it's licensing deals and may introduce the service in 2010. Apple recently bought music-streaming service La La Media Inc and also revamped the iTunes Store. One also must not forget the rumored Apple tablet which in conjunction with iTunes can act as a "cable box". All these point to something big and maybe killing cable doesn't sound as far-fetched as before.
