Google Goggles Coming To The iPhone

Google Goggles (it works as a tongue twister too) is the latest brainwave by Google.  Goggles is a visual search app for Android that takes full advantage of the camera capabilities of an Android device. Hence one  doesn't need to type in a  search query has the app  generates a Google search  from the images itself. So next time you come across a beautiful historic building,take its picture and  juste Google mmm I mean Goggle it and you will get all the relevant information!

There is no doubt that Goggles is a great concept but what further excites us is that it may just not be restricted to Android. Google's Hugo Barra in an interview confirmed recently that Goggles will be coming to our favorite iPhone and other platforms as well! 

"Our plan is for visual search to be robust enough to be part of our core search experience on mobile devices."

   I think google is doing great work. I do however prefer simple internet on my Straight Talk phone. I get Unlimited web, minutes and messages for $45 monthly making things so simple and easy.
