Real-time-strategy games don’t get much more stylized than this intergalactic war-em-up. Featuring both single player campaign and 8 player WIFI and Bluetooth multiplayer, Red Conquest is fighting fit in the features stakes. It ought to be, those blue guys are a real pest!

Angry Birds – $.99
This charming little game full of foul mouthed members of the orthicon persuasion, takes the castle defense formula and twists it belligerently into something more akin to castle attack. There are 63 levels promised for hours of gameplay.

Snow Moto Racing – $.99
This rich 3D racer has been a long time coming and now that it’s here, it’s looking as pure as the driven snow. Six tracks, dynamic difficulty plus local Bluetooth multiplayer spells all I want for Christmas.

Pac-Man Championship Edition – $2.99
The classic never dies, so long as it isn’t accosted by one of several multi-coloured ghosts. Not much to report here except to say, this just released old-timer is looking sharp on the iPhone and it’s sporting a cheaper introductory price. Gobble it up now.

Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. Р$6.99
A big budget console title that’s coming home to roost on the iPhone. This arcade flight simulator is heavy on action and battles, grounding some of the more intricate and slightly less fun elements of real aircraft flight. The perfect title to show off what your iPhone can do to anyone who gets a PSP for Christmas.

Fallen EP-1 – $4.99
Survival horror games are somewhat undersubscribed on the iPhone so it’s great to see this creepy looking title is coming in episodic form to fill the void. It’s 2.5D and the locations are gorgeously dark and forboding Рthe perfect antidote to all this Christmas cheer that’s around just now Рbah humbug.

SEED 1 – RISE OF DARKNESS – $2.99
This Chillingo published effort looks like just the sort of game to get your teeth
into, if you’re looking for something with a bit of depth. It’s got all the character leveling you could hope for with a whole encyclopedia of quests to deal with. It’s also almost half price just now so score this bargain while you can.
