If you don't plan on driving in Canada anytime soon — oh, boy, have we got a deal for you!
Tom Tom — whom we've already castigated a few times for the high price of their iPhone hardware/software solution — have released a new version of their iPhone app. The good news is, it's only US$49.99, which is fifty dollars less than its predecessor. As for the bad news — it only has maps of the US of A.
The price drop is certainly attractive, given Tom Tom's high marketplace visibility. But it's still far from a one-horse race in the smartphone GPS market, and we're not just talking iPhones exclusively, either (remember, Google Navigation for Android phones is a freebie!). To learn more about your navigation options, be sure to check out our GPS category right here on this fine bloggeroo.
