The existence of an Apple tablet by any name took two steps closer to "when" instead of "if."
First, Kai-fu Lee (who used to be the president of Google China) posted the above on his microblog. According to Google's own translation code, Lee wrote:
The Apple Tablet
looks like a bigger iPhone that sports an awesome UI packed in a
beautiful 10.1-inch screen. The tablet combines the functions of both
netbook and kindle, an ebook reader. It has virtual keyboard for text
entry and a webcam for video conferencing.
If that's not enough, FoxNews reports that an inside source at Apple has all but guaranteed a special media event on January 26:
[The source stated] this event will focus on the mobility space, meaning we'll see something related to the iPhone/Touch product line.
