While most iPhone and iPod Touch users in Europe can now download the free Digg App from the iTunes music store, the tech geek community in the U.S patiently awaits its launch.
According to those who have already used the App, it lists "Top," "Recent" and "Upcoming" stories in different categories. The functionality remains similar to the website, though streamlined for iPhone use. One option is said to allow saving of Digg stories so that they may be read later.
Users will also be able to share their articles through social network sites such as Facebook, twitter or good old-fashioned email.
If you absolutely must be one of the first to download the App from the U.S. store, you can keep visiting the following iTunes link until it indicates that the App is available: Digg App for iPhone (Note: You will get an error message until the App is made available)
Update: App is available now
