Opera just released an Android-flavored beta version of their Mini 5 browser. Like its brethren, "O-droid 5b" is free to download (bag it from your desk computer or your phone's current browser). We promptly grabbed it for our Nexus One…
…and discovered it did NOT support multi-touch. It DOES have a touch-screen implementation of the classic Opera zoom-in/zoom-out, as seen below:
You can zoom in with a tap anywhere on the screen, then zoom back out by tapping the zoom-out button. In practice, this is actually quicker than a pinch-in/out gesture. Still, the lack of multi-touch support is annoying.
On the plus side, "O-droid" has multiple-tab support and — even in beta mode — is still light-years better than Dolphin or the default Android browser. And at that price, it's worth trying out yourself and making up your own mind.

Gotta Disagree with you so far.
Most sites I have visted don’t show up correct the first time, or when you swap from display modes items don’t re-appear until you do a refresh.
Some sites open in full view, others are zoomed.
I’m not impressed yet. Maybe after a few more tweaks.
Another Opera downer…..no compound accelleration scrolling: ie: slow as hell compared to stock browser.
Stock is way to go…especially with desire Rom.
i wanted to rock this browser cause i had it on my BB but i read that you cant set it as the default browser? and i dont like that i cant set up my bookmarks on the mainscreen
I gave it 4 stars, since some pages are not working good with the Beta. But once all bugs are fixed and Opera Mini 5 is out of Beta, I will give it 5 stars.
Thanks again for releasing Opera Mini 5 Beta for Android. I’ve been waiting for this really long.
