The biggest news two days ago at the Apple iPhone event was the coming of multitasking. Next to the ability to tether, it is the big piece missing from the iPad's impressive array of talents. That we will have to wait for fall, for multitasking is a huge disappointment, one which left me wondering, 'WTF'?

On the bight side is the upcoming social gaming platform. If the iPhone is a winner here, then the iPad will become stellar. I am one of those that doesn't game on iPhone, beyond Tetris, simply because of the size of the screen. The iPads larger screen makes it much more attractive to the casual gamer, like myself. Unfortunately it will also make it a larger space for advertising; iAd here we come.

The WiFi issue continues to boggle. I hope for a software update soon, if not I will return the iPad for the 3G version. My WiFi is great five feet from my Apple router. Outside of the apartment, I cannot log into WiFi connections, even those that my iPhone can .

A call into Apple support gave me a good response. No, I'm not the only one with this specific issue, they are working on it. The support rep also suggested I go to: http://www.apple.com/feedback .
