The Linux on the iPhone blog posted an update Friday assuring everyone that while the binaries are taking time, work is proceeding a pace. The dev is working to improve the packaging to make the installation easier.
It promises to have more features than the 3G demo originally showed, including full calling and sound support.
The dev also plans to roll out the iPod Touch binaries with the 3G. Then he‚Äôs moving onto ‚Äòpower management and the little details that will make Android a truly viable alternative on our three early ports.‚Äô
What does this boil down to? A real Android port to the iPhone!
