Y'know, we'd almost forgotten that the iPad has all those dongles you could plug into the standard Apple port for various I/O. Has anyone actually, y'know, USED an iPad dongle recently?
Apparently, Netflix subscribers have. And apparently, enough of 'em complained that Netflix's iPad app didn't play nice with the component/composite/VGA dongles. Which is why Netflix just updated their iPad app to output video to the external screen of your choice, and threw in some crash fixes for good measure.
App's still free, Netflix's still subscription-based, and the sun still rises in the East.
