Apple Trademarks “iTunes Live”

This image described by Apple, iTunes, Live, online services, Itunes-live

One of Apple's recently filed trademark applications was for "iTunes Live."

The trademark is made up of the logo above, and is reported to be filed under two separate classes:

– Online retail store services in the field of entertainment featuring prerecorded musical, audio and audiovisual content

– Entertainment services, namely, arranging and conducting of concerts and live musical performances

It's important to know that iTunes currently has a selection of iTunes Live material, such as iTunes Live from SoHo. These shows are pre-recorded live performances at special concerts held in Apple Stores around the world. It's possible that Apple will begin to place more emphasis on the service. However, it's also possible that Apple is just protecting their property.
