A legal battle between Apple and Nokia continues. This time, Nokia has filed a lawsuit against Apple.
The suit alleges that Apple's iPhone and iPad 3G infringe on five of Nokia's patents. The infringement? According to the filing, is on patents that "relate to technologies for enhanced speech and data transmission, using positioning data in applications and innovations in anntenna configurations that improve performance and save space, allowing smaller and more compact devices."
According to Techcrunch, this isn't the first time such tensions arise between the two. In October of 2009, Nokia tried to sue Apple over patent infringement for "technology related to its GSM, UMTS and WiFi 'standards'." Though Apple ended up countersuing Nokia for "patent hold-up."
