We don't blame you for waiting for the iPad 3G to come out. You're clearly not an early (well, earlier) adopter, and the thought of being tethered to a Wi-Fi hotspot just to use your shiny new tablet seemed kinda…limiting.
And we also understand that, just because you waited for the 3G, you maybe don't necessarily NEED the 3G service right off the bat. Better to have and not need, etc.
Apparently, nobody at Apple got that memo. iPad 3G users are finding out their units are constantly popping up the do-you-wanna-set-up-a-data-account message seen above. Even stabbing the "Later" option, the nag screen returns a lot sooner than you'd expect.
Fortunately, it's a quick fix to solve: In you Settings, set "Cellular Data" to "Off." And don't turn it back on until you actually sign up with the Death Star for wireless coverage.
