Another day, another iPhone milestone, another self-congratulatory Apple press release:

Over 1.7 MEEEELLION iPhone 4's sold in three days (as of June 26).   Here's Uncle Steve with details: "This is the most successful product launch in Apple's history. Even so, we apologize to those customers who were turned away because we did not have enough supply."

These days, the only thing more predictable than a record-breaking iDevice debut…is a partial or full iDevice leak prior to said debut.

The press release goes on to catalog the new hardware/software features, remind us that pricing is based on a two-year contract with the Death Star, etc.  Not addressed in said press release: the pre-order server meltdown, proven glass breakage issues, yellow display problems, the whole "I drop calls if I hold it this way/Then don't hold it that way!" touching-the-antenna imbroglio.

"Yeah, but six hundred thousand i4's sold PER DAY!"
