They're letting people in to the Moscone Center and the rumors keep coming.
Of all the things we thought, and hoped, Steve Jobs might premiere at the WWDC today, a multi-touch track pad was not one of them.
Engadget is reporting a leak of a brand new input device, magic mouse-like trackpad that connects to desktops and laptops, via Bluetooth. It looks to be about size inches diagonal, just a bit larger than the numeric keypad area.
This lines up perfectly with earlier rumors of an Apple trademark application for a "Magic Trackpad."
It makes sense as Apple has steadily made moves away from regular input devices and into touch or gesture oriented (?) options in its recent products.
Rumors also abound that this device will support handwriting recognition.
